📣 The Apple Vision Pro is coming soon!
Recently, I introduced this year on LinkedIn by sharing my opinion on the upcoming release of the Apple Vision Pro, which is set to debut in early February 2024 in the United States initially.
Personally, I believe that it will take some time, but there's a strong likelihood that this device will find its way into many businesses and households.
Its success probably won't be immediate on its first iteration (similar to the Apple Watch), but it should gradually gain traction over time (just my opinion 🙂).
Here's my analysis:
Integration with the Apple ecosystem ⌨️: One of the key strengths of the Apple Vision Pro lies in its integration with other Apple products, creating a seamless and cohesive user experience. Moreover, it will most likely be possible to access one's other devices without having to remove it.
Advanced vision features 🔍: It apparently offers advanced vision features and impressive immersion compared to other similar devices already on the market. This could appeal to users seeking technological innovation.
Design and user-friendliness 🎨: Apple is known for its elegant and intuitive design. If the Apple Vision Pro maintains these high standards in terms of design and user-friendliness, it could attract a wide audience, including those who are not necessarily tech-savvy.
Applications in various fields 📱: If the Apple Vision Pro offers practical applications in different domains such as productivity, health, or leisure, it would significantly broaden its scope and appeal.
Marketing and brand image : How Apple positions and markets the Apple Vision Pro will play a crucial role. A strong marketing campaign highlighting its benefits and potential usefulness could positively influence product adoption. In my opinion, it will first target professionals/B2B, and then aim for household penetration over time.
Anyway, regardless of what it holds, I'm certain it will be interesting to analyze!
And you? What's your perspective? 👀

Designing better target sizes by Ahmad Shadeed
As a user, you have to interact with clickable user interface elements such as buttons, links, cards, and more. If an action has a small target size, it will be harder for the user to click, or they might accidentally click on an adjacent action item.
In this article intéractif, which provides many high-quality examples, Ahmad Shadeed explains how to design better interaction areas for these interface elements. Here it is 📖.

This newsletter is called Figma Plugin Weekly.
I really like the concept centered around "There's definitely a Figma plugin for that!"
Every week, you can discover 5 Figma plugins that have been tested, selected, and described by the teams at <div>RIOTS.
